Hotel Inntel was established in 1982 and opened its first hotel in Zutphen, nowadays known as Inntel Hotels Resort Zutphen. This four star sport, recreation themed resort offers 67 rooms, a bar, brasserie and a wide range of sport facilities, like a gym, pool and sauna, tennis, squash and bowling courts.

In 1986 the second hotel opened its doors: Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam. This hotel is a mere 15 minute train ride from Amsterdam with direct connections to Schiphol. In 2010 the hotel was completely renovated. The façade, an accumulation of almost seventy traditional ‘Zaanse' houses becomes the striking feature of this building. The hotel has 160 rooms, a restaurant, meeting and reception rooms as well as a wellness centre containing a gym and pool. History of the Zaan region meets modern comfort in this hotel.

Three years later, in 1989, Inntel Hotels Rotterdam opened, offering 148 rooms. In 2006 the hotel expanded with 115 rooms with magnificent views over the Erasmus bridge. The ‘View on the Water' theme is consistent throughout the hotel. The meeting and reception rooms on the sixteenth floor offer a panoramic view over the bridge. The hotel features a restaurant, bar and wellness centre containing a gym and pool.

The fourth hotel was established in 1996 in the historic and popular heart of Amsterdam. Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre has 239 rooms; from romantic suites to modern business rooms. ‘Face Amsterdam' is the central theme in this hotel which expresses the international character of the city; its people, international faces and most importantly the dynamics of the city of Amsterdam.

Mainport by Inntel Hotels opened its doors in 2013. This five-star hotel on the banks of the Maas river is a member of Design Hotels. It is located next to Inntel Hotels Rotterdam Centre. Influences from all over the world are integrated into Mainport by Inntel Hotels. The hotel inspires with a world class atmosphere: a gateway to the world.

In the same year, autumn 2013, Inntel Hotels Arts Eindhoven was opened. A unique hotel, partly located in the former Philips factory ‘The Light Tower', where the first light bulbs were made and tested. Architects and designers transformed the factory into an artistic hotel with beautiful and unique loft rooms, where art, history and science meet.

Inntel Hotels is working hard on expansion plans. In 2018 Inntel Hotels Utrecht City will open to the public. 2019 will see the opening of Inntel Hotels Marina Beach in Scheveningen as well as a second hotel in the centre of Amsterdam.
